A Houston woman has pleaded guilty to conspiring to import thousands of dollars worth of liquid meth into the country, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

A man landed behind bars for attempting to smuggle approximately $1.9 million in methamphetamine, according to an arrest affidavit.
Erik Estiben Alonso Martinez, a U.S. citizen, was arrested and charged with import, attempt to import, and conspire to import the meth.
Alonso Martinez arrived in a 2010 Chevy Malibu at the Juarez-Lincoln International Bridge at about 7:19 a.m. April 23. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers referred Alonso Martinez to secondary inspection.

A man tried to smuggle more than $500,000 in cocaine through International Bridge 2, according to an arrest affidavit.
Jose Manuel Carrillo, a 48-year-old U.S. citizen, was charged with import, attempt to import and conspire to import cocaine.
A 2016 Chevy Malibu driven by Carrillo arrived at the Juarez-Lincoln International Bridge on April 18. A U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer referred Carillo to secondary inspection, where an X-ray of the vehicle yielded anomalies inside the rocker panels.

Two sisters were arrested for the smuggling attempt of a child via the Juarez-Lincoln International Bridge, according to an arrest affidavit.
Josaid Lee Dimas, 26, and Judith Ann Dimas, 23, were charged with transport, attempt to transport and conspire to transport an immigrant illegally present in the country.
At about 1:07 p.m. Monday, Judith Ann Dimas arrived at the Juarez-Lincoln International Bridge in her private vehicle. She was accompanied by her sister, Josaid Lee Dimas, and a child.
