It would be difficult for any two men to make an altercation with boxing fans on Saturday at a rally between Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez and Juan Francisco Estrada. Gonzalez and Estrada not only had hope, but they outnumbered them when Estrada’s hand was raised in anticipation of a split. Estrada came out of the gate quickly for the first time, trying to force Gonzalez and throw the Nicaraguan legend into her game. The initial victory did not last long for Estrada, however, as Gonzalez appeared to have taken the fight to the center. Gonzalez went ahead, downgrading with a combination that responded almost to boxing with Estrada, although Gonzalez’s punches seemed to be very helpful in the exchange.
