A friend found Zeljko Kuch with serious head injuries lying in a pool of his own blood just after 7pm on Saturday, May 1. Police searched the nearby home of a 35-year-old man on Sunday, seizing several items and charging him with murder. He appeared in Joondalup Magistrates Court on Monday and was denied bail, with his next court appearance on May 26.
