The Owen Sound Minor Lacrosse Association confirmed this week they are shifting their base of operations from the city to the nearby Shallow Lake Community Centre for this year. The shuffle was necessary when the two major venues in Owen Sound; the Harry Lumley-Bayshore Community Centre & the Julie McArthur Regional Rec Centre, were unavailable and required for COVID-19 care and vaccinations. One of the interesting notes about this alteration of sites is that there will be no residency fees applied which has been an ongoing contentious issue for years.
