HILLSBORO, Mo. Two adults were killed and three children were taken to the hospital with injuries after a head-on crash on Highway A in Jefferson County Saturday night.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Andrew Sanchez was driving his 2010 Ford Escape eastbound on Highway A near Pioneer Road at around 9:15 Saturday night. The crash report said he crossed the center line and crashed head-on with a Mitsubishi Outlander driven by Karen Crouse.
Motorcycle hits black bear in Jefferson County, leaves two in serious condition

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) â Two people are in serious condition after their motorcycle hit a black bear in Jefferson County Saturday night.
Florida Highway Patrol says the motorcyclist, 50, and their rider, 58, were riding northbound on SR 59 when they hit the bear.
Both of the riders are from Ochlocknee, Ga., and were transported to Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare in serious condition.

Inmate found in ductwork at Jefferson Co. youth detention center after reports of escape

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Tenn. A teenage inmate was found in the ductwork of the Mountain View Youth Development center in Jefferson County Sunday morning, the Dandridge Police Chief said. He had been reported missing Saturday night, launching a search that officers to call in support from surrounding counties.
Chief Carson Williams said the teenager had apparently never left the outer perimeter of the fence. He was found in the ductwork of one of the buildings of the detention center Sunday morning.
