CENTER POINT The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call on Wednesday evening asking for deputies to investigate a fight in the parking lot of Charter East Apartments. A short time later, a second 911 call from the apartments reported a shooting.
The incident occurred 7:45 on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at 15th Terrace NE in Center Point, Sgt. Joni Money said. The victim was located by responding deputies.
Money said a male was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries, which were thought to be non-life threatening. Jefferson County Detectives are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the incidents.
