The Jefferson County Sheriff s Office is investigating the case as a homicide.One person was shot and killed following an apparent family dispute.The Jefferson County Sheriff s Office reported it happened about 1:15 p.m. today on Dolly Drive in western Jefferson County.Deputies were called to check on a person shot call, and found a wounded person at the scene.The JCSO says according to reports, two family members started an argument over money, when one of them had a firearm and shot the other person.The injured person was sent to a hospital and later died.At this time, no arre

ATLANTA The coronavirus pandemic was responsible for nearly 80 million reported illnesses worldwide in December 2020. But, the illness, named COVID-19 by the World Health Organization (WHO), actually began in 2019. Health experts first identified the virus in Wuhan, China.
Although many people reported little to no symptoms, some have reported severe illness. Around 1.72 deaths have been attributed to coronavirus. A person can remain infectious for up to two weeks after catching COVID-19.
