While normally held at the North Pole Fire Department, this yearâs event will take place today at the Calcium Fire Department and will be a drive-thru style in order for everyone to stay safe amid the pandemic.
This will be the eventâs sixth year, with the idea originally coming from a realization that there was a need for K-9s, that they didnât have body armor and were potentially unsafe.

PHILADELPHIA, N.Y. (WWNY) - A teenager from DeKalb is accused of making a purchase with a debit card he allegedly stole.
State police say they arrested the 17-year-old on Sunday. He allegedly used the debit card at Dollar General in Philadelphia, N.Y.
He was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and was released to appear at Jefferson County Probation at a later date.

WATERTOWN â A months-long investigation by the Metro-Jefferson Drug Task Force resulted in the arrest of one man and seizure of methamphetamine, marijuana and more than $4,000 in cash.
Members of the task force executed a search warrant at 118 S. Pleasant St., lower apartment, at about 8:35 a.m. Monday. The search resulted in the seizure of $4,145 in cash, 30 grams of meth, 1.3 pounds of marijuana, a money counting machine and two sets of digital scales and packaging material.
The search was a result of an investigation by the task force lasting several months, during which information was developed indicating the apartment was allegedly part of an illegal drug operation, according to a news release.
