Share Updated: 1:08 PM CDT May 4, 2021 WDSU Digital Team The Jefferson Parish Sheriff s Office is asking for the public s help identifying a person believed to be involved with the shooting of a 14-year-old. JPSO said the shooting happened on April 10 in the 4000 block of S. Dells in Harvey. The person wanted is suspected of being present during the homicide, according to JPSO. JPSO believe the person is a male in his late teens. Anyone with information regarding this individual s identity is asked to call our Homicide Section at 504-364-5300 or contact Crimestoppers.

TERRYTOWN, Louisiana A shooting in Terrytown, left a man dead outside of a house Sunday.
According to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff s Office, at around 5:45 p.m. gunshots were reported in the 2900 block of South Monterey Ct.
During a search of the area, deputies said they found a man with a number of gunshot injuries in front of a house.
He was pronounced dead on the scene, according to JPSO.
The victim s identity is not known and there is no suspect or motive at this time.

May 2, 2021 - NEW ORLEANS, LA – U.S. Attorney Duane A. Evans announced on April 30 that
DORIAN WILLIAMS, age 47, of Gretna, Louisiana, pled guilty
to possessing with intent to distribute five
kilograms or more of cocaine and engaging in money laundering of profits from his drug trafficking. Agents seized approximately 66 kilograms of cocaine and about $3.9 million in drug proceeds hidden inside his Gretna stash house and home.
As part of his guilty plea,
WILLIAMS agreed to forfeit nearly $5 million in drug proceeds, real estate properties in New Orleans purchased with drug proceeds, and two cars.
WILLIAMS faces up to life imprisonment, a fine of $10,000,000, at least five years of supervised release following any term of imprisonment and a $200 special assessment fee. United States District Judge Jane Triche Milazzo will sentence

WESTWEGO (WVUE) -One person was killed Friday night in a car crash on the westbank, according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened around 7:45 p.m. Friday in Westwego.
Westwego Police and JPSO deputies were dispatched to the area of the Lapalco Bridge in Westwego.
One vehicle crossed from the westbound lane and struck a vehicle coming towards it in the eastbound lane. The westbound driver was pronounced dead on the scene. Four occupants in the eastbound vehicle were transported to the hospital.
It is not known at this time if impairment was a factor in the crash.
