Human remains discovered outside Chestermere last week have been identified by Alberta RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit, and information is now being sought from the public about the suspicious death of the woman.
Mounties were notified Friday that a body had been dumped along Range Road 284, north of Chestermere Boulevard and west of Chestermere.

Following an autopsy Monday, the woman has been identified as 29-year-old Jennifer Ashley Foley from the Calgary region, according to a news release from Chestermere RCMP. The cause of death has yet to be determined so it hasn’t been ruled a homicide at this time but it is considered a suspicious death.
Jennifer Ashley Foley, 29, from the Calgary area, was found dead on Friday.

The body of Jennifer Ashley Foley, 29, was found on Range Road 284 north of Chestermere Boulevard, police said in a release on Tuesday. An autopsy was completed on Monday.
