19-Year Old Shot Sunday Night In Chattanooga Monday, March 8, 2021   At approximately 9:03 p.m., Chattanooga Police were notified by dispatch that a male victim had arrived at a local hospital by private vehicle with a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, officers located and confirmed that the victim was suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.     The victim stated that he had been shot in the 2100 block of Camden Oaks Drive. Officers then responded to that location and were able to locate and subsequently secure the crime scene.       Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423 698-2525 or submit a tip via the CPD Mobile App. You can remain anonymous.

The current total is 15,640. There were 752 new cases, as that total reached 829,077 confirmed cases of coronavirus.  Hospitalizations are at 56,836, 39 more than Sunday. 8 Vehicles Stolen From LaFayette Auto Dealership; Chattanooga Man Arrested As 5 Vehicles Recovered Monday, March 8, 2021 Walker County Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating a large theft at Jenkins Chrysler Jeep Dodge in LaFayette, Ga., according to Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson. By Monday evening, authorities began recovering some of the vehicles. Two were located in the area of the 600 block of Bella Vista Drive in Chattanooga. Chattanooga Police and Walker County detectives have been working through the evening following leads.  A Chattanooga man who was found to be driving one of the stolen vehicles was arrested and booked into the Hamilton County Jail on a felony charge.
