A man was shot and a home was damaged in a shooting on Maplelawn Street in Hopkinsville Thursday night.
Hopkinsville Police say two men fired shots at each other during an argument leading to one of the men being shot in the arm.
Several shell casings were reportedly found and a home was hit six times during the shooting.
Police say the man that was shot was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The second shooter was taken into custody as the shooting is being investigated.
Police were called to the area just before 10 pm for a report of shots fired.

Two Hopkinsville men are facing charges of wanton endangerment following a shots fired incident on Maplelawn Street Thursday evening.
According to the Hopkinsville police report, officers responded to the 100 block of Maplelawn around 10 p.m. Thursday for reports of shots fired. Investigation reportedly revealed that two neighbors, 36-year old Timothy Freels and 46-year old Jamie Calhoun, had gotten into a dispute that escalated.
The two allegedly exchanged gunfire and Calhoun was struck, and was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. He was treated and released. There were reportedly other individuals nearby when the incident occurred, and a residence that a woman was inside of was struck by the gunfire.

A preliminary hearing was held in Christian District Court Friday morning for Dalton Hall, one of the men accused in the shooting death of Delmour Moncrief at the East Ninth Street Valero gas station in April.
Hopkinsville Police Detective Jonathan Sholar testified that he was unaware of any relationship between Hall, co-defendant David King and the victim in this case. He says surveillance footage from the gas station shows Hall exit a vehicle in the parking lot and fire three shots from a handgun at Moncrief he and King then get back into the vehicle and flee the scene.
A wreck on Pembroke Road near Casky Lane sent three people to the hospital one with severe injuries Wednesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say a car was eastbound when for an unknown reason it crossed into the westbound lanes and hit a truck pulling a camper then a van.
The van ran off the road and overturned trapping the driver inside. The car continued traveling down the roadway before catching fire.
The driver of the van had to be extricated from his vehicle.
The driver of the van was flown from the scene to a Nashville hospital with severe injuries. Two others were taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for what police say are non-life-threatening injuries.
