Hartselle police say a man has been arrested after confessing to killing his brother.
According to police, officers responded to a shooting call Wednesday at 2102 S.W. Pinehurst St. about 3 p.m.
Phillip Anthony Grigsby, 59, had been shot once. He was taken to Decatur Morgan Hospital by ambulance, and died at about 4:45 p.m.
His brother, Jerry Wayne Cleek, 79, of Hartselle, was questioned about the incident and admitted to shooting his brother, police said. He has been charged with murder and is being held in the Morgan County Jail on $100,000 bond.
