Five men targeted in a road rage shooting in Lehi are suing the man who allegedly fired at them for $25 million.
On Jan. 25, the five men were carpooling southbound on Interstate 15 near Lehi. According to court documents, Jesse David Luker began tailgating their truck while they were driving in the HOV lane. The two drivers changed lanes several times to try to get in front of each other, swerving at each other. Eventually, Luker pulled out a handgun and fired several shots from his truck toward the other truck, police said.

A Salt Lake City man is facing multiple felony charges after he reportedly fired a gun at another driver on Interstate 15 in Lehi.
Jesse David Luker, 31, was charged in 3rd District Court with three counts of attempted murder, a second-degree felony; and three counts of felony discharged of a firearm, a third-degree felony.
According to a probable cause statement, on Jan. 25, Luker was driving his black pickup truck southbound on I-15 between mileposts 285 and 279 when there was a “road rage incident” between him and the driver of a white pickup truck.
Luker was tailgating the white truck in the HOV lane, according to charging documents, and the driver of the white truck was “brake checking” Luker hitting the brakes in an attempt to make Luker back off.

LEHI, Utah â Court documents show a man faces multiple felony charges in connection with a road rage incident on I-15 in Lehi Monday morning.
Jesse David Luker, 31, of Salt Lake City, faces five third-degree felony counts of aggravated assault, a misdemeanor count of discharge of a firearm from a vehicle and a misdemeanor count of reckless endangerment.
Witnesses told police that Luker, who had been driving a black 2010 Chevrolet Silverado, and the driver of a white pickup truck had been swerving aggressively at each other on southbound I-15 between milepost 285 and exit 279 around 7:35 a.m.

LEHI Police arrested a Salt Lake man accused of shooting two people during a road rage incident on the I-15 freeway Monday.
Jesse David Luker, 31, was booked into the Utah County Jail for investigation of five counts of aggravated assault, discharging a firearm from a vehicle and reckless endangerment.
Five men were in the white pickup driven by George Ruiz-Acosta while Luker was the lone occupant of the black truck, according to a police affidavit.
“There was a road rage incident between both vehicles,” the affidavit states. “Both vehicles engaged in swerving at each other while traveling” south on I-15.
