On the far left is the old Freemason s Tavern at the bottom of Winkfield Road. (The 1930s rebuild is pictured here.)
On the next corner, in the background, is the original Lordship Tavern that stood on the corner of Accacia Road (the old building still stands today). The pub moved to a new building 40 metres east on the corner of Perth/Dunbar Roads in the 1930s.
This image also has the old Lordship Tavern in the background (but it has lost its dutch gable by this point).

Post on Twitter - I can t find their account. Also contact old NME/Melody Maker reviewers such as Danny Baker, who has a phenomenal memory. And if he doesn t know then he ll make it his mission to find out.

I finally got round to buying a copy of this wonderfully interesting book about a street in Finsbury Park.
The first seller I ordered it from got back to me and said that they only supply educational establishments. They said they d cancel the order and refund my payment.
Without waiting to confirm, I ordered a copy elsewhere. Lo and behold, today I find that I have two copies.
The store who acted in error is happy to collect the book and refund me. But I thought first I d check to see if anyone wants it locally.
