Alpine F1 Gets Its Insurance Policy for Recovering Fernando Alonso Formula 1 veteran Kvyat added as a reserve driver for any time off Alonso might need following offseason cycling accident. Of all the world s great races, the 24 Hours of Le Mans is the one that does it for me, but I ve never been. For years, the opportunity never presented itself, or I wasn t interested. Lately, I ve found Le Mans hard to get excited about I grew up with the golden era of LMP1. Now with only Toyota left in the top LMP1 hybrid class, that golden era is well and truly over.
