Two Jordanian brothers were arrested on Sunday for beating their sister into a coma in Amman last month. The pair were charged with attempted murder and have been remanded in custody for 15 days.
The woman, 20, who has not been identified by local media, remains unconscious and has not improved noticeably since her admission to the Jordan University Hospital on 24 December. She was allegedly beaten on the head by her brothers, aged 25 and 26, after they caught her talking to an unknown person on the phone,
