A moose hunted in Newfoundland more than a decade ago. A moose skull living on the land in Nova Scotia. A porcupine quill basket in storage in a Vancouver museum. A 19th-century photograph at a Paris museum. An artist in Nova Scotia. A pandemic. More photographs – transferred via the internet. And the result: a large-scale photograph of an intricately painted moose skull resting on Mi’kmaq land in Eastern Canada, installed on the other side of Canada, on the exterior of a substation that powers half of downtown Vancouver.

Last night, the Fannin Rebels traveled to Rabun County to take on the Wildcats for their first game in two weeks. Fannin had just come from a win against Union County and hoped to continue the trend.
Fannin started off with the lead as Jordan Bennett put the ball into action and scored a three-point shot to start off the first quarter. Bennett led the Rebels in scoring for the night with 13 points overall. Kaeden Twiggs was right behind the Junior as he drove through the defense and added 11 of his own points to the Rebel’s score. The Wildcats followed suit and made three-point shots of their own to take the lead and end the first quarter with a score of 18-8.
