A confirmed student case of COVID-19 has resulted in the dismissal of nine students from Windsor’s Catholic Central High School.
The Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board said it learned of the case on Sunday, and immediately informed the affected students they are not to return to school when classes resume on Tuesday.

The school board said it is working with the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit, and has provided a list of students and staff who may have also had contact with the confirmed case.

Intermountain Catholic asked a few Utah Catholic School students, “When you are 80 years old, what will you tell kids about 2020?” Their responses follow.

“When I am 80 (if I make it to 80), I will tell the grim story of 2020 school. I would tell them about the masks. I will tell them about the social distancing. But the thing I will tell is how it brought us together. It brought us closer to our community (despite being online most of the time).
