A confirmed student case of COVID-19 has resulted in the dismissal of nine students from Windsor’s Catholic Central High School.
The Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board said it learned of the case on Sunday, and immediately informed the affected students they are not to return to school when classes resume on Tuesday.

The school board said it is working with the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit, and has provided a list of students and staff who may have also had contact with the confirmed case.

Growing up in hockey-crazed Windsor, Ontario, Mychal Mulder often rode with his father, Randy, across the Ambassador Bridge to Detroit for Pistons games.
That big city, with its blacktops and gyms filled with promising players, represented a sort of gateway to basketball opportunities. It was only after Mulder’s AAU coach started driving him 15 minutes into Detroit that Mulder started to receive interest from college coaches.
