While Marcus Bontempelli is firming as the Brownlow medal favourite, Matthew Lloyd believes Port Adelaide midfielder Ollie Wines could âgo really closeâ in the 2021 vote count.
Wines, 26, is in career best form in 2021, and was one of the Powerâs best in their 34 point win over Hawthorn on Saturday night.
Speaking on
Channel Nineâs Sunday Footy Show, Lloyd says he has Wines as a hot Brownlow chance to due his form and the fact that heâs standing out from his teammates.
âI know the favourite for the Brownlow is Marcus Bontempelli, but this guy could go really close â Ollie Wines,â Lloyd said.
