The Charity Choice Invitational Gymnastics competition is scheduled for the Greater Tacoma Convention Center Feb. 12-15. It will be the first major event at the convention center since the beginning of COVID-19 restrictions last March. The event is set to draw 3,000 people to Tacoma and the region from 10 states.

Tacoma to hold first large event since moving into Phase Two KOMO News Staff © Provided by KOMO-TV Seattle TACOMA, Wash. – The first major event since the Puget Sound Region moved to Phase Two is being held in Tacoma on the weekend of Feb. 12. The Charity Choice Invitational gymnastics competition is scheduled for Feb. 12-15 at the Greater Tacoma Convention Center. It is the first major event in Tacoma since COVID-19 restrictions were put in place in March 2020. The event is expected to draw 3,000 people over four days and is expected to fill up 1,300 – 4,000 hotel rooms, bringing in $650,000 to $1.7 million to the county, a spokesperson with Travel Tacoma says.
