A DUNFERMLINE woman has been jailed for shoplifting and motoring offences. Rachel Stewart drove erratically in the centre of Dunfermline with no headlights on. She went through red traffic lights and then drove into roadworks on the Coal Road, which was closed. When she got out of the car, she needed help to walk and refused a breath test. Srewart, 40, of Adamson Crescent, appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court. She admitted that on August 21, at Debenhams, she stole a bottle of fragrance. She also admitted that on November 17, at Appin Crescent, St Margaret s Drive and Nethertown Broad Street, she drove a car dangerously and without insurance.
A DUNFERMLINE serial offender has been jailed for shoplifting and drugs offences. Lee Renwick was caught stealing after-shave worth more than £170 from Debenhams when he was banned by court from entering the Kingsgate Centre. Renwick, 50, of Bute Crescent, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court for two separate incidents. On March 26 last year, at a store in Inchkeith Drive, he stole food.He was also found to be in possession of diamorphine. On October 5 this year, at Debenhams, Kingsgate, he stole a quantity of fragrances. He also breached a bail condition to stay out of the Kingsgate Centre. He was stopped after being spotted by staff on CCTV. He had taken items worth £172.
It is alleged that George Fisher assaulted workers at the Aldi store in Halbeath Road. Fisher, 33, of Law Road, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court. It is alleged that on November 18, he stole groceries from Aldi, Halbeath Road, and assaulted a worker by spitting on him repeatedly and attempting to bite him. Fisher is also accused of assaulting another man and also a second employee by charging towards him, attempting repeatedly to punch him on the head, spitting repeatedly on him and attempting to bite him. It is further alleged that Fisher shouted and swore at employees, threatened to stab one of them and then struggled violently with police officers.

An Inverkeithing removals firm lost £12,000 in a telephone scam and one of those involved in the crime has now been jailed.
Graham Fletcher, 39, of Belsyde Avenue, Drumchapel, Glasgow, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on April 16 2018 at Flemings Removals, Belleknowes, Inverkeithing, he acquired criminal property, namely £12,000 which was transferred into a bank account in his name.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said at 2.30pm the firm received a phone call from someone claiming to be from the Clydesdale Bank fraud department.
