A 17-year-old boy who state police said was hurt this month in a shooting at a Hempfield apartment building was arrested Friday on robbery charges stemming from the same incident.
Thomas Henderson of Carmichaels is charged as an adult with robbery, theft and weapons violations.
Troopers were called to Hempfield Heights Apartment Complex April 6 just before 4 p.m. and found Henderson lying on the ground of the parking lot with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. He was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital for treatment.

State police this week apprehended a Hempfield man charged with the shooting of a teen at an apartment complex.
Darnell Albert Dennison, 19, was arraigned Thursday on charges of aggravated assault, illegal possession of a controlled substance, reckless endangerment, simple assault and unlawful possession of a firearm. He was ordered held in the county jail on $100,000 bond.
State police in Greensburg issued an alert last week that they were seeking Dennison in connection with a shooting during an alleged drug deal at the Hempfield Heights Apartment complex, where he lived.

A 17-year-old boy was injured in a shooting at Hempfield Heights Apartment Complex Tuesday during a drug deal and state police are looking for the suspect, according to court papers.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Darnell Albert Dennison, 19, of Hempfield. He is charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a firearm and related offenses.
Troopers said the boy was shot in the shoulder just before 4 p.m. and taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital for treatment. Police found him lying on the ground of the parking lot outside the apartment complex at 168 W. Hills Drive being tended to by a male witness.
