The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for a fugitive. Richard Surles is the name of the suspect in the investigation. His charges include Attempted Murder and Robbery.
According the investigators reports, Surles approached the victim with a 9mm handgun and demanded money and a cellphone. A scuffle ensued with Surles firing one shot striking the victim. The gunshot caused minor injury.
At a later date, Surles approached the victim again in an attempt to intimidate him. After the second encounter, Surles shot at the victim multiple times.
Dallas County authorities consider Surles Armed and Dangerous. They ask that anyone with information call the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office or CrimeStoppers at 215-STOP.

DALLAS (FOX 9) – Minnesota Vikings defensive back Jeff Gladney was arrested and booked by the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office Monday morning following an assault accusation, according to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office.
Jail records show Gladney was taken into custody at about 11:20 a.m. Monday, and released minutes later after posting bond.
Gladney, 24 years old and a Texas native, started 15 games as a rookie for the Vikings last year, finishing with 81 tackles, seven tackles for a loss, three passes defended and one forced fumble. The Vikings selected Gladney out of TCU with the No. 31 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

DALLAS Police say Jeff Gladney, a Minnesota Vikings cornerback, has turned himself in to face felony assault charges.
The alleged assault happened on Friday, Dallas police told KARE 11 affiliate KXAS. They said Gladney and a 22-year-old woman were arguing about something on a cell phone. When the argument escalated, police said Gladney physically assaulted the woman.
At times the driver intentionally drove into oncoming traffic, but no crashes have been reported in connection with the chase.
It was back in McKinney where the driver tried to again lose the police, sheriff s deputies, and state troopers in a residential neighborhood, often going off-road and across lawns trying to escape.
The ambulance apparently bottomed out a curb and the driver quickly bailed out and tried to outrun police on foot while also trying to hold up his falling pants.
Moments later the man was cornered in a fenced-in area and was taken into custody by several officers near Joyce Way and Tension Lane.
Multiple agencies assisted the Greene County Sheriff’s Office in execution of a search warrant at a Perry home that uncovered an improvised explosive device. The search was conducted at approximately 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at 1819 6
th St. in Perry. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, the Perry Police Department and the Iowa State Fire Marshal’s Office assisted. In addition to the explosive device, authorities recovered stolen property and seized drug paraphernalia as well as suspected controlled substances. Charges are pending lab results on those items. The name of the resident at that address has not yet been released.
