A man wanted for sexually assaulting a child in Dallas has been arrested at the Colombia Solidarity International Bridge, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Arturo Vasquez Tovar, 22, arrived on Jan. 12 at the Colombia Solidarity International Bridge. A CBP officer processing vehicle traffic referred Vasquez Tovar, a U.S. citizen, to secondary inspection.
Biometric verification through law enforcement databases confirmed that he had an outstanding warrant for sexual assault of a child, a first-degree felony, out of the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office in Dallas.

PEOPLE confirms through online records that Esparza was indicted on Dec. 29, 2020, and is being held on $500,000 bond. It was unclear if he s entered pleas to the charges, and information on his lawyer was unavailable.
Vehicle pursuit, standoff lead to temporary shutdown of Interstate 20 early Friday

A vehicle pursuit followed by a standoff early Friday led to the temporary shutdown of Interstate 20, near Interstate 35E.
Around 9 a.m. Friday, Grand Prairie police were in pursuit of a vehicle that fled from a traffic stop, according to the department’s spokeswoman, Chelsea Kretz.
