OKA s first U.S. store in Upper Kirby.Â
âIf youâve been inspired to set a proper table on a Tuesday for takeout,â then you might want to visit OKA, says Krista Stelling, the posh British home goods and furniture brandâs senior vice president of sales and marketing.
Although the 22-year-old brandâ has been operating an online shop stateside since 2019, its new Upper Kirby store is OKAâs first American brick-and-mortar.
LMFM By Caitriona Rooney Three antique flags from Slane Castle form part of a major auction of home and wartime memorabilia set to go under the hammer in Co Meath.
The “exceptionally rare” items from Lord Henry Mountcharles’ estate are up for grabs at the 1,100-lot ‘Easter Interiors and Historical Sale’ co-ordinated by antiques dealer Niall Mullen.
It takes place in Eureka House in Kells on April 13 and 14, and is expected to generate huge interest online in the absence of physical viewings.
The Slane items include a large, red ‘Welcome Home’ banner, a Union flag and a Commodore’s flag from Royal St George Yacht Club in Dublin’s Dun Laoghaire, dating back to 1847.

Netflix drama film The Dig about the Sutton Hoo excavation has proven to be quite the lockdown hit.
