Police have charged a teenage boy following an armed robbery in Cranbrook yesterday afternoon.
Around 4pm, police will allege a teenage male approached a 55-year-old woman in the carpark of a Ross River Road medical centre as she returned to her parked vehicle.
The male allegedly assaulted the woman before entering her car, starting it and attempting to drive away.
A female bystander entered the vehicle and prevented it from being driven away before she was allegedly assaulted.
The teenage male fled on foot into local parkland in company with a teenage girl.
They were both apprehended by police a short time later.

A second teenage boy is behind bars after two intruders broke into the home of a woman who had been killed days earlier when an out-of-control car hit her motorbike.
Jennifer Board, 22, was killed in the north Queensland city of Townsville on Friday. It will be alleged a would-be vigilante was chasing a stolen car when he lost control of his vehicle, causing the fatal crash.
A second teenager is arrested in Townsville over the break-in at Jennifer Boardâs unit.
