Wash used the bank card three times after stealing it A LANGPORT man stole a bank card from a neighbour in the same block of flats where he lives. Richard Wash, 31, of Cheapside, then used the card three times on the same day before he was caught. Wash, who was given a community order with a six-week curfew when he appeared at Taunton Magistrates Court, was ordered to pay a £95 victim surcharge and £85 costs after admitting an offence of theft and three counts of fraud. As well as pleading guilty to theft on August 30 last year, he admitted fraud by withdrawing a total of £110 using the stolen card.
