Two people who d been shot early Tuesday evening responded by driving to a North Topeka Sonic Drive-In, where police and an ambulance crew responded.
Both victims suffered wounds that weren t considered life-threatening, said Topeka police Lt. Ed Stanley. No arrests had been made.
The names, ages and genders of the victims weren t being made public. One was released after being treated at the Sonic at 636 N.W. US-24 highway, while the other was taken by ambulance to a Topeka hospital, Stanley said.
Police were called about 7 p.m. Tuesday to that Sonic, where the victims had driven after being shot at a separate location, Stanley said.
