DENVER - L Avalanche du Colorado a échangé le défenseur Ryan Graves aux Devils du New Jersey, jeudi soir.
En retour, l Avalanche obtient les services de l attaquant Mikhail Maltsev ainsi qu un choix de deuxième ronde au prochain repêchage.
En transigeant Graves, et alors que le défenseur Erik Johnson a accepté de lever sa clause de non mouvement, l Avalanche peut maintenant protéger les défenseurs Devon Toews, Cale Makar et Samuel Girard en vue du repêchage d expansion du Kraken de Seattle.
Les Devils ont beaucoup de marge de manoeuvre pour protéger Graves.
