Heartbroken friends have paid tribute to a fit and healthy man who died eight days after receiving a Covid-19 vaccine.
Darren Lee Missen, 55, died in Tamworth Hospital, in northern New South Wales, on April 21 after suffering what hospital staff had described as a massive blood clot in his lungs.
It s unclear which vaccine he received on April 13.
There is yet to be a confirmed link between his death and the vaccine as health authorities continue to investigate.
A close friend of the 55-year-old confirmed his death on social media.

Emergency services were called to a house on Wattle Place, Inverell about 11pm last night.
When they arrived, police and paramedics found a man on the pavement with a stab wounds to his stomach.
The 22-year-old was taken to Inverell Hospital before being transported to Tamworth Base Hospital in a critical condition.
