Police charge three after search warrant at Walgett
Two men and a woman have been charged after police executed a search warrant at a house in Walgett yesterday.
About 7.30am (Tuesday 11 May 2021), officers from the Walgett Proactive Crime Team executed a search warrant at a house in Pitt Street.
A 38-year-old man, wanted on a warrant in relation to a robbery in company, was arrested as he attempted to flee the house.
Police allegedly located and seized cannabis and methylamphetamine, mobile phones, a NSW Police issue torch, and a Honda motorcycle.
While police were conducting the search a 20-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman arrived at the house. They were both wanted on outstanding warrants and were arrested.

A man has been charged after allegedly attempting to groom a person he believed to be a 13-year-old girl online, but who turned out to be an undercover police officer.
The 50-year-old man was arrested by detectives at his residence in Gunnedah, New South Wales about 8.30am on Wednesday.
The man believed he was speaking with a 13-year-old girl, had sexually explicit conversations about acts he wished to perform on the child and sent sexually explicit material, police will allege in court.

The man accused of stabbing a 41-year-old in South Tamworth, on Saturday has been refused bail.
It’s alleged the 26-year-old entered a home on Goonoo Goonoo road at 3am and repeatedly stabbed a man in the torso.
The victim fled to a nearby service station and called for help.
The case will return to Tamworth Local Court on April 28.
