KILLEEN, Texas On Monday, Killeen ISD named Latisha Williams, the current principal of Charles E. Patterson Middle School, as the newest principal of Robert M. Shoemaker High School. Throughout her 22-year career in Killeen ISD, Ms. Williams has built a strong rapport with her students, staff, and community. Always full of energy, the former Killeen High Girls Basketball coach believes in building a strong team from the ground up and always placing students at the forefront of every decision, the district s superintendent Dr. John Craft said in a release.
Jamie Richards-Hogland was victim of mistaken-identify shooting at an off-campus apartment in Stephenville

“I want to give you an update on the young lady that was shot there at Tarleton University about three years ago. Her name was Jamie Renee Hogland. She passed away on Good Friday.”
DeLeon resident Johnnie Harper left that message Tuesday with the Brownwood Bulletin, explaining that Richards-Hogland, as she is referred to in her obituary, was the daughter of his cousin, Eddie Hogland of Conroe.
She died April 2 at age 22 at the family’s home in Conroe, where she’d been battling leukemia.
Ronnie Mills Jr., 48, of Early went to Heaven on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 following an epic 4-year battle with a rare and aggressive cancer. To his very last breath he was the fighter everyone knew him as for all his life. His last days he spent reminding all his loved ones that “Jesus Christ is Lord.” Even when he couldn’t speak, he would point his finger to heaven as a symbol of his faith.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Early First Baptist Church.
Ronnie was born May 20, 1972 in Brownwood, Texas to Ronald and Brenda Mills. He attended Brownwood High School and went on to get an Associates in networking from TSTC and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Tarleton University. He achieved his MBA in 2012, and went on to become an International Sales Manager at Apple, Inc. where he was passionate about inspiring and developing people’s unique talents to be the best they could be.
