There’s a chance of an early morning shower on Friday in Pittsburgh, but the rest of the day should be partly sunny with a high around 80.
It’s a good portent for the return of in-person events at the Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival, which went all-virtual in 2020 due to the pandemic. In addition to live programming in the Cultural District, the 10-day festival will retain some virtual elements.
Festival hours will be noon-8 p.m. daily through June 13.
Courtesy of Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership World Square in Downtown Pittsburgh The Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival is primed to return to Downtown Pittsburgh this June, with free outdoor live shows, artist markets, and more. And in addition to those festivities, the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership and Welcoming Pittsburgh will host the World Square in Market Square event, as a way to highlight the city’s immigrant and international communities. The three-day-long event running from Fri., June 11-Sun., June 13 will transform Market Square with the “sights, sounds, and cuisine of the international and immigrant communities of Pittsburgh,” according to a press release. Visitors can expect hand-crafted items, prepared foods, live entertainment, and much more from local restaurants, businesses, and performing arts groups.
