Employing the Genesis brand s Athletic Elegance design philosophy, the G80 appears to have an Audi A7-like liftback design, but there s actually a traditional trunk lid back there. Details like the split headlights and lots of shiny chrome further help the G80 stand out from the crowd. As standard, the G80 gets LED exterior lighting, dual exhaust outlets, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Higher-spec models have 19- or 20-inch wheels as well as a power panoramic sunroof.

Genesis is now pushing hard into the luxury market and upping its exclusivity level with a launch edition for its refreshed G70 model. It will be limited to a 500 model run and come with unique color combinations and the upgraded 365 horsepower twin-turbo 3.3-liter V6 engine. The G70 Launch Edition comes with a red leather interior, lightweight 19-inch black wheels, and the choice between Verbier White or Melbourne Grey shape defining matte exterior paint. It s also available with either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive and will go on sale alongside the standard refresh model in the spring of this year. Unfortunately, the manual option is completely gone for the 2022 model year.
