Search Underway for Suspect in Following Attempted Warrant Execution in Milford

Milford, IA (KICD)– A search is underway for a man wanted on multiple warrants including first degree robbery following an attempted warrant execution in Milford.
The Milford Police Department, Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office and Heat tactical team converged on 1000 block of Highway 71 in the downtown area Monday afternoon attempting to take Patrick Miles into custody.
After what appeared to be a standoff in the area, police were able to make entry and reportedly found a monitor bracelet assigned to Miles in the home, but he was not around.
Patrick Miles is wanted for 1st-degree robbery, and other warrants.
Monday afternoon, the Dickinson County Sheriff s Office, and the Milford Police Department, worked together to try and arrest Miles in the 1000 block of Highway 71 in Milford. A tactical team was activated to execute the high risk arrest warrant.
When authorities entered his home, Miles wasn t there. What investigators did find inside the home was a monitor bracelet assigned to Miles. The bracelet had been removed.
If anyone sees Miles, call 911 immediately. Authorities say you shouldn t try to confront Miles because they consider him to be dangerous.

Missing Three-Year-Old Found In Dickinson County
BREEN TOWNSHIP, Mich – A missing toddler in Dickinson County has been found.
Three–year–old Eleanor Gendron was found in a heavily wooded area in Breen Township safe and sound yesterday while in the company of her family’s two dogs.
Her father, Brent, realized she had wandered off and notified law enforcement around 1:30 pm Tuesday afternoon.
The girl was missing for three hours and found by searchers.
She didn’t require any medical attention.
Five agencies including the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the search.
IRON MOUNTAIN, MI A Dickinson County woman was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Iron Mountain Monday.
Michigan State Police say around 12:15 p.m. the 59-year-old Channing woman was westbound on US-2 near the First National Bank when she had a medical emergency. Her vehicle crossed the centerline, struck a construction barrel, drove across the lawn of Advance Auto Parts, and hit two unoccupied parked vehicles in the bank parking lot.
The driver was taken to Dickinson County Hospital for treatment.
The Iron Mountain Police Department, Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, Breitung Township Fire Department and integrity EMS assisted at the scene.
