Suspected members of a drugs gang linked to a series of terrifying attacks were targeted in raids this week. Police teams swooped on 11 addresses across south Liverpool as they sought to bring down a cannabis dealing operation. Those leading the criminal enterprise are believed to have used shootings and arson to intimidate rivals.
Thursday s raids - codenamed Operation Cape - were the latest stage in an investigation launched following severe violence in the Dingle area.
