According to Caddo Parish Sheriff Steve Prator, a joint investigation with the DEA, the Desoto Parish Sheriff s Office, Bossier Parish Sheriff s Office, Shreveport Police and Louisiana State Police led to the largest fentanyl seizure in Caddo Parish or the surrounding area More than 4 pounds of fentanyl, both in powder & pill form, were taken off the street following a traffic stop in west Caddo Parish Friday afternoon. For those that don t know, fentanyl is one of the most dangerous illegal drugs on the streets. According to the latest stats from the DEA, more than 31,000 overdoses can be attributed to fentanyl use.
