Amity University conducts training for media professionals of Guyana ANI | Updated: Jun 05, 2021 23:00 IST
New Delhi [India], June 5 (ANI): Amity University has concluded a five-day virtual training programme Media Affairs: Communication and Engagement for twenty-five members of the official media of the Government of Guyana.
The training, held from May 30 to June 4, was organised under the Indian Technical and Economic Co-operation Programme (ITEC) sponsored by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), according to an official release.
Applauding the participants on the successful completion of the training Dr Ashok K Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Group of Institutions thanked the Ministry of External Affairs for initiating this unique programme and remarked that collaborative arrangements with Guyana and India are more successful because English is common to both countries.
Communications Officer
Education: Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing or similar
Experience and understanding of Digital platforms
Five years’+ experience in customer centric role
Main responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Ensure that all communications and marketing material aligns with brand standardsUnderstand the best practices of main social media channels including Facebook, Linkedin, etcMust possess exceptional writing skills, accuracy and attention to detailStrong communicator who works well independently and with a teamSuperior time management skills and the ability to co-ordinate multiple projectsAbility to think strategically and identify ways to improve communication effortsAssist with all facets of marketing/public relations/communication drivesProvide support and co-ordinate:Ability to co-ordinate and type minutes of all adhoc meetings as requiredCo-ordination of all eventsCo-ordinate, arrange, support and carry out full funct
