Neighborhood Preservation Inc., an organization that promotes neighborhood revitalization by collaboratively developing practical and sustainable resolutions to blighted properties and to the systems that lead to widespread neglect, vacancy and abandonment of real estate. The National Weather Service in Memphis, after assessing the storm’s damage for several hours, confirmed it was a single tornado that swept through parts of Tipton County, reaching winds as high as 95 mph, resulting in the EF-1 rating.

MEMPHIS, Tennessee A survey team from the National Weather Service Memphis office traveled north to Tipton County after a confirmed EF-1 tornado touched down there late Sunday afternoon, including near the communities of Munford and Drummonds.
Thankfully, no one died or was injured during the storm, but the damage left plenty of clean up for homeowners and crews Monday.
