Following an autopsy conducted by the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office, Wallace Jr.’s cause of death was determined to be homicide due to injuries “sustained by a sharp instrument.”
Seguin police were first called to the scene around 3:40 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 23, in the 800 block of W. Kinsgbury for a report of a possible suicide.
Officers arrived and found Wallace Jr. deceased in his car. Upon further investigation, officials said he was killed in the backseat of his vehicle, where he often slept.

AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin Police Department said two people were found dead following a SWAT situation that lasted more than six hours at a doctor s office on West 35th Street in Central Austin.
Dr. Katherine Dodson and Dr. Bharat Narumanchi were found dead inside the building from apparent gunshot wounds. It appears that Dr. Narumanchi shot himself after shooting Dr. Dodson, according to police.

(Seguin) Seguin Police Detectives continue to investigate the death of a local man whose body was found over the weekend inside a vehicle.
The say the victim has been identified as Sam Flores Wallace, Jr. Detectives say the 43-year-old was found in the parking lot of the apartment complex located in the 800 block of W. Kingsbury St.
Officers were initially called out to the Stagecoach Apartments at around 3:40 p.m. Saturday for a suicide. However, detectives say they are now calling the incident “suspicious.”
Seguin Police Chief Terry Nichols says while not many details about the case are being released, they do say that “the injuries sustained were lacerations made by a sharp instrument.”

On Saturday, January 23, at approximately 3:40 pm, Seguin Police and Seguin Fire/EMS responded to the 800 block W. Kingsbury, the Stagecoach Apartments, for a possible suicide.
Upon arrival, officers located a 43 year-old man deceased in a vehicle in the parking lot of the apartment complex. Justice of the Peace Sheryl Sachtleben pronounced the man dead and ordered an autopsy at the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office due to the suspicious nature of the death.
The deceased man has been identified as Sam Flores Wallace, Jr, 43.

SAN MARCOS, Texas – San Marcos police arrested a 59-year-old man connected with the murder of a 33-year-old man at a local hotel.
Officers were called to the Econo Lodge Hotel and found a man dead inside one of the rooms on Tuesday night.
Officials identified the victim as Andreas Mihanpoor.
An investigation led officers to the suspect, Melvin George Nicholas Jr., and an arrest warrant was issued for his arrest, police said.
Nicholas was arrested and taken to the Hays County Jail. A bond has not been set.
