Law association hits back at Trinidad PM
Keith Rowley

(Trinidad Guardian) National Security Minister Stuart Young and the Law Association of T&T (LATT) seem to be engaged in a war of words over statements Young and the prime minister have made about attorneys over the past several days.
In a release yesterday, LATT hit back at Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley and Young over what they deemed to be derogatory remarks made about attorneys representing Venezuelan migrants.
The association says it also takes offense to Young’s allegations that a statement made in a court hearing by an attorney representing Venezuelan migrants could be linked to aiding and abetting illegal migrants.

(Trinidad Guardian) National Security Minister Stuart Young is reminding the country that national borders have not yet been reopened by the Government.
The reminder follows recent announcements that efforts were being made to bring home as many as 400 T&T nationals from abroad, who have been stranded for months because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a result, rumours have been circulating that T&T’s borders have been reopened, officially.
However, in a news release from the national security ministry, Minister Young says that is not the case.
