Why Briggs From Green Zone Looks So Familiar Universal Pictures

It s safe to say that people are fans of Matt Damon and his work with Paul Greengrass. The pair worked together on The Bourne Identity sequels The Bourne Supremacy in 2004 and The Bourne Ultimatum in 2007 before reuniting one more time for Jason Bourne in 2016. However, in the midst of all of that Jason Bourne goodness, Damon and Greengrass combined forces on a more realistic action film called Green Zone in 2010.
Since Green Zone is currently streaming Netflix, a lot of people are checking it out and talking about it, more than they probably have in the last decade or so. To give you a bit of background on the 2010 film, it s centered on US Army chief Roy Miller (Matt Damon) as he seeks weapons of mass destruction during the 2003 invasion of Iraq by US forces.

When we last saw the U.S.S. Discovery, Sonequa Martin-Green’s Michael Burnham had finally been appointed captain of the ship. And her leadership skills will be tested right off the bat as this trailer reveals a new threat to the galaxy. Burnham and her crew, including Saru (Doug Jones) and Tilly (Mary Wiseman), will work together with the newly introduced Federation President (a half-human, half-Cardassian) to investigate the spatial anomaly that’s causing cosmic havoc.

Fans got an extended preview of Season 4 of “Star Trek: Discovery” Monday, the first with Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) in the captain’s chair. The teaser dropped as part of First Contact Day celebrations.
Burnham took command of the U.S.S. Discovery at the end of Season 3 when Saru left the ship to return to his homeworld of Kaminar and mentor his fellow Kelpian Su’Kaul.
After following Commander Burnham into the wormhole in the second season finale, Season 3 of
Star Trek: Discovery finds the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery landing in an unknown future far from the home they once knew. Now living in a time filled with uncertainty, the U.S.S. Discovery crew, along with the help of some new friends, must work together to restore hope to the Federation.
WHAT WE THOUGHT:
When
Star Trek: Discovery did a massive time jump at the end of season two, I was concerned. Time jumps can go one of two ways, but this was the right move for the show.
