It s time for Californians to dig their Mickey Mouse ears out of storage. Disneyland Park and Disneyland California Adventure Park will reopen their gates to state residents on April 30, more than a year after shutting down due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Anaheim, Calif.-based theme parks will reopen at limited capacity and in line with state public health requirements, Disney CEO Bob Chapek told CNBC s Squawk Alley on Wednesday.

After being closed for more than a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the
Disneyland Resort in California is set to open once again. Disney has announced that both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure will open their gates to visitors on April 30 at reduced capacity. Meanwhile, Disney s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is planning to reopen one day earlier on April 29.
With the parks opening come some new restrictions, though. As mentioned above, attendance capacity for Disney s California parks will be limited. To gain access, guests must both purchase admission to the park and make a reservation through a new system. Due to state guidelines, only citizens of California will be able to access reservations. Details about how the reservation system will work have not been announced and it is not known if park hopping between the

Disneyland, Disney California Adventure to reopen on April 30
ANAHEIM, Calif. - After a yearlong closure, Disneyland Resort and Disney California Adventure Park will reopen to the public on April 30 with limited capacity, park officials announced Wednesday. The day all of us have long been waiting for is almost here, said Ken Potrock, president of the Disneyland Resort. We’re excited to have more than 10,000 cast members returning to work as we get ready to welcome our guests back to this happy place.
In the days leading up to the public opening on April 30, Disneyland Resort will invite cast members and members of the local community to be the first theme park guests after more than a year of closure.
