It s called FlyOver Las Vegas, and it s being billed as an “immersive flight-ride experience.” What that means for Las Vegas visitors is buckling in and watching a film on a spherical screen.
Located next to the Hard Rock Cafe on Las Vegas Boulevard, FlyOver s two flight-ride theaters will open with a full-service bar in September.
With a Strip-facing entrance, ticketed visitors sit down, strap on seatbelts and roll into the center of a 52-foot wrap-around screen. The ride is designed to make you feel like you re gliding in a helicopter over destinations like the Grand Canyon, Zion and Arches National Parks, Lake Tahoe and Las Vegas.
