Hospital is refusing to keep my father for more than a couple of hours due to the shortage of medical oxygen. My father will die. In a short while, her DM was inundated with messages offering leads. One such message was from Suhail Shetty, who took down Chaddha s details and made several phone calls to his friends and relatives to get an oxygen concentrator. On April 25, at 2.20 am, he managed to arrange one.

Led by Goa-born, London-based writer Sonia Faleiro, they have tied up with Mission Oxygen, “a not-for-profit, non-political group” of Delhi NCR-based entrepreneurs running a campaign to bring these machines to India to save lives.

Jailed ex-RJD MP Mohammad Shahabuddin dies of COVID-19

He tested positive on April 20 and was undergoing treatment in hospital Former Rashtriya Janata Dal MP Mohammad Shahabuddin, who was lodged in Tihar jail, died of COVID-19 at a city hospital on Saturday. Director General (Prisons) Sandeep Goel confirmed the development. Prison officials said gangster-turned-politician Shahabuddin, who was serving serving life imprisonment in Tihar, tested positive on April 20 and was admitted to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, where he died during treatment. When his condition deteriorated two days ago, he was put on ventilator at the hospital. Mr. Goel told news agency PTI  “information has been received from Deen Dayal Upadhyaya hospital in Delhi about the death of Mohd Shahabuddin. He was suffering from COVID-19 and was admitted in DDU on April 20”.
