CONWAY, SC (WMBF) - A downtown Conway alley will have a little extra Coastal Carolina University school spirit.
Eleven CCU students have started work on the âTeal Alleyâ on Third Avenue across from the Garden Walk.
âI paint murals at Briggs Elementary School in Florence, South Carolina,â said CCU Junior Ava Starnes. âThatâs my former elementary school, so Iâve been working there in the summer the past three years.â

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) - Friday afternoon some news was shared that was great for Teal Nation and probably not so great for the rest of the Sun Belt Conference. Coastal Carolina is getting one of its key leaders and top defenders back for the 2021 season.
Senior linebacker Silas Kelly took to Twitter this morning to announce his plans to return next fall.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Two of the top players from Coastal Carolinaâs dream season are leaving the beach and heading to the NFL.
Senior RB CJ Marable and redshirt senior DE Tarron Jackson each making the announcement on social media on Sunday that they are forgoing their final season of eligibility to turn pro.

CONWAY, S.C. (WMBF) - A pair of Coastal Carolinaâs biggest weapons on both sides of the ball are taking their game to the next level.
Coastal senior running back CJ Marable and senior defensive end Tarron Jackson both announced Sunday that they are officially declaring for the 2021 NFL Draft.
âThe past three years at Coastal Carolina have been some of the best time of my life,â he said in a statement on Twitter. âThe friendships and bonds Iâve made with teammates and coaches are ones that will never be broken. Thank you, Teal Nation, student body and the community for supporting me from the very beginning.â
