FOND DU LAC - A Fond du Lac man convicted in connection with the largest seizure of methamphetamine in the city s history will spend 14 years in prison.
Fond du Lac County Circuit Court Judge Robert J. Wirtz sentenced Adrian Irby Friday for convictions of manufacturing/delivering methamphetamine on or near certain places as a repeat offender, conspiracy to commit possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine at or near a school, and possession of a firearm by a felon as a repeater. Irby was a significant meth dealer, and this sentence sends the message that the delivery of methamphetamine will result in serious consequences, District Attorney Eric Toney said.
VILLAGE OF EDEN – Fire completely destroyed a shed Thursday night in Fond du lac County.
Fire crews and deputies responded just after 9 p.m. to a structure fire at a property owned by Guelig Waste Removal and Demolition, according to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said the large pole shed, which housed wood chippings and machinery, was fully engulfed in flames when first responders arrived. It’s considered a complete loss.
Officials said no one was injured, and the fire isn’t suspicious. It’s still under investigation and the cause is still unknown.
The following fire departments assisted at the scene: City of Fond du Lac, Town of Fond du Lac, Campbellsport, Mt. Calvary, Town of Calumet, Lamartine, Waupun, Oakfield, St. Cloud, Eldorado, Van Dyne, Kewaskum, Lomira, Greenbush, Theresa, Kohlsville and Brownsville. The Fond du Lac County Highway Department also assisted.
