Donation to support telehealth kits for children
SAN ANTONIO, TX (January 22, 2021)
The Security Service Charitable Foundation is helping the Children’s Justice Center provide mental health services for more children by donating $5,000 to supply telehealth kits. These kits are a connection to positive resources and healing. They equip children with iPad, pens, papers, markers, play dough, and positive affirmation cards.
The focus of the Children’s Justice Center is to reduce the trauma of child abuse investigation, helping children feel safe so that they reveal the truth. The center’s homelike facility was designed to make children as comfortable as possible while they receive coordinated services during the investigative process.
